What is yoga psychology?

Yoga psychology represents the inner or contemplative side of the yoga tradition. It is rich with practices designed to bring about a profound transformation of the mind and heart – a transformation that awakens us to a wide calm, a deep peace, a quiet inner joy and contentment that do not depend upon outer things.   The many practices of the yoga tradition help us to have access to our innate capacity for intuitive insight, wisdom, compassion, and a freely flowing creativity.

The insights offered by yoga psychology are relevant to addressing the challenges we face in our personal lives, those we face in the workplace, in our local communities, and in the global community as well.
